At this event we will be exploring the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic, from experiencing the symptoms of Long Covid to the overall wellbeing of staff in health and social care. Aimed at all staff in health and social care we are trying to reach the hard to reach and underrepresented groups of patients in long covid clinics. This session aims to help community staff in the health and social care sector consider the symptoms of Long Covid and signpost people to their GP. The event marks the launch of A Caribbean Couturier in Lewisham , a heritage exhibition inspired by the stories of Caribbean women who produced made-to-measure, couture gowns alongside their day jobs in Lewisham.
The discussion will feature first, second and third generation Caribbean makers and designers sharing their experiences of life before and after moving to Britain, the impact it had on their work and how their professional journeys have been influenced their heritage.

Health and Wellbeing Champions development session
Following the national launch event for Health and Wellbeing Champions on 13 July 2021, NHS England and Improvement committed to providing Champions with monthly development sessions focussing on key topics to enhance your role as a Champion.
This session will focus on:
Supporting you to stay up to date and motivated within your role as a Champion
This session will include an update on the national Health and Wellbeing support offer.

A 4-week writing course running from the 5th May every Thursday from 11am-12:30pm.
A chance to come and explore expressive writing – no previous writing experience necessary, just a chance to try out writing with the help of professional writer Lisa Evans.

Every second Wednesday of each month, there is an NHS England and NHS Improvement Health and Wellbeing community event designed for everyone supporting NHS people during and following the Covid-19 response.

South East London ICS Staff Network Day celebration
You are all invited to the South East London ICS Staff Network Day celebration on Wednesday 11 May, in the recognition of National Staff Network Day. The event will showcase some of the inspirational staff networks across the south east London system.

A mindfulness course with a large selection of relaxing and meditation videos that cover a range of common topics from self, others, work, humanity etc.

How could sitting with our breath help, when Ukrainian women, men and children are being bombed and attacked?
Why should we ‘just’ sit and breathe in the face of psychopathic bullying and a vicious attack on humanity?
We can be overwhelmed by emotions like fear, sadness, anger and disgust as we get drawn into the terrible news about the war.

Parkruns are free, weekly, community events all around the world.
Saturday morning events are 5k and take place in parks and open spaces. On Sunday mornings, there are 2k junior parkruns for children aged four to 14.
Parkrun is a positive, welcoming and inclusive experience where there is no time limit and no one finishes last. Everyone is welcome to come along, whether you walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate.

An introduction to mindful eating, an online session with Headspace
Any moment can be mindful, even snack time. Our friends at Headspace are here to explore how mindfulness can bring a new perspective to the food you eat.
In this webinar, we'll give you tips on mindful eating, and show you how to support it with the Headspace app. It will also include a 10 minute guided exercise, so bring some food - a piece of chocolate or fruit will work just fine.
