  • Staff counselling and wellbeing - Staff counselling and wellbeing do not provide treatment for mental health problems. For this staff should self-refer to IAPT. 
    • Staff counselling - Self-referrals for confidential counselling support. 
    • Wellbeing service - Referrals from occupational health for psychological support. 
  • Employee assistance programme - Free, confidential advice for emotional and practical issues as well as telephone counselling. 
  • Kings Health Partners - Support, education, training and development opportunities for the Kings Health Partners workforce. 
  • Trade unions - Protecting your rights and interests. 
  • BETH - App for staff wellbeing. 
  • MAUD - App for staff resources 
  • Education and training/LEAP - Staff mandatory training and personal development opportunities. 
  • Recovery College - Staff self-development training courses. 
  • Staff networks - Admin, BAME, LEN, LGBTQ+.
  • Freedom to speak up - Friendly and informal way for staff to talk about issues at work. 
  • Human resources (HR) - Supportive policies e.g. flexible working, carers leave, etc... and host of staff benefits. Employee Relations support and advice for individuals and policy training workshops.

If there are problems with processes, systems or structures within my team e.g. issues with I.T., recruitment, physical office layout, then LIA will work with us to support us to resolve them and if this does not remedy the problems then the LIA leads get involved to enable the removal of blockages.

EECs are self-help groups focused on emotional emancipation, healing and wellness for Black people from racial injustices. They aim to address the impact of historical and ongoing institutional and everyday racism, help participants to learn emotional wellness skills, support healing through celebrating the Black experience, and contribute towards the building of supportive networks. Previous attendees have described EECs as helping them to feel connected, energised and empowered. Meetings will take place via MS Teams.
