character - woman 1.pngThe RePAIR project has highlighted the factors impacting healthcare student attrition and the retention of the newly qualified workforce in the early stages of their careers. This RePAIR survey found that 30% of students from a global majority community were anxious about the impact Covid-19 will have on their careers compared to White respondents of the survey. 27% of all allied health professionals considering leaving their studies due to feeling overwhelmed, being stressed and mental health challenges.

Studying to become an allied health professional can be a daunting journey. You might be feeling stressed about finding a job after you finish studying, sad that you will need to move back home, or anxious about making enough money to support yourself independently. There is support available to you as you undertake your studies within allied health, and beyond as a professional.
